Life is all about a Pulsar Ride!

Some farewells are good, most of them are not. Here I am, sitting with a cup of coffee in my hand as I fight back tears thinking of my last few days in this beautiful city.

Bangalore, I owe my life to you. You have made me whatever little I am worth today.

When I first came to the city, it was a mammoth to me. I was a scared little girl, just out of her home town and had no clue of what to expect from life. I still remember holding my mom and crying my eyes out as I did not want her to leave me here all alone. Little did I know that this place never leaves you lonely!  No matter where you are, you will always find someone or something that suits your likes.

So many love Bangalore for the weather and the pubs, I love the city for all that it has to offer!

From the endless cafes to the dazzling restaurants, the simply amazing night life to the beer parlors in the day (We are awesome even though we close at 23:00), the traffic to the bloody autowallahs, the bus conductors to the beautiful big cars, the super chic corporate offices to the lush greenery all around, sky scraper apartments to beautiful mansions to the numerous shopping malls, the Durga Puja to the flea market events. Everything teaches you so much.  The city has the power to turn you into a happy soul. You can love and hate everything about Bangalore at the same time.

Personally, this city has given me all I could have asked for and more. It has taught me to love selflessly. It has taught me to recover and put myself together when things just don’t go right. It has taught me to wander aimlessly in the millions of lanes and yet be able to smile. I could have never known that long drives amidst traffic on a Pulsar could be so satisfying. The city has taught me how to be a professional and how important it is to be a career focused person.

I have learnt patience and also that where there is a will, Bangalore has a way. I have learnt to enjoy travel and talk to strangers. I have learnt that you can never get enough of this place.

There have been a lot of people who have touched my life in my 6 years here. Today, as I’m about to leave all that behind, I just wish that the people I want in my life stay with me for ever.  All I know is that I (like everyone else in love with this place) can never leave Bangalore completely.
A large part of my being is because of this city and the people here.

Like I said, I owe it you and forever will!

Ok, now my coffee is cold and I’m all teary! So long Bangalore! Till we meet again!
